As we approach another cycle around the Sun, we take time to reflect on the melodies and rhythms that helped sustain us throughout the year, as we pay homage to artists that create conduits for us to tap into healing vibrations necessary in these times.
2024 is the year that will forever mark in our lifetime that mass murder carried out by our state, our allies, our corporate entities, including the prison industrial complex, is without question, acceptable. Alongside myriad global atrocity crimes, it is this backdrop that gives art and music more purpose than ever.
Our mixtape is comprised of songs released this year that we feel counterbalances these amoral forces, and is vital to our resistance on an existential level, capturing the essence of our human experience, devoid of greed and destruction.
