In celebration of his latest album, Heard and Unheard, we wanted to shine a light on composer and producer, Gifted & Blessed aka GB based in Highland Park / Los Angeles, California.
Born Gabriel Reyes-Whittaker, GB has been making magic since the early-‘00s, releasing music under the monikers The Abstract Eye, Frankie Reyes, The Reflektor, and one-half of duo The Steoples.
A member of the vanguard producing what we like to call—spiritual electronic music—GB is an unsung player in LA’s influential beat scene as an original performer at Low End Theory with notable credits alongside visionaries like Steve Spacek, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Ras G (RIP), Kelela, etc.
